Easton Murals is a project dedicated to the creation of public murals in Downtown Easton, Pa., with the intention to improve the visual landscape of the City and to create opportunities for the promising artistic community. The initial phase of the mural program is focused on high profile locales in Downtown Easton to garner attention to the program and help raise funds for future expansion of the project. The goal of the mural program is to spread into all the surrounding neighborhoods of Easton once the program has been established and adequate funding and community support has been generated.
Easton Murals is a collaborative effort between Brick + Mortar Gallery owners, Tom D’Angelo and Chaz Hampton, and Easton Main Street Initiative (EMSI), a grass-roots, volunteer-driven, downtown revitalization program. EMSI is the subsidiary of the Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP), a 501(c)3 organization.
